How do you do your tequila shots? I did a tequila shot with a bunch of Marines. The way we did it was to eat the salt, throw the shot over our shoulder, and squirt the lime in our eye. Just to clear it up, this was not done as a first drink. If any of you turds have ever drank with a Marine, you would know that by this time we all were 3 sheets to the wind and the shots started by someone describing this process and someone else saying "no balls". Why is tequila so different from other alcohols? I have a wide drinking experience, and understand the differences between certain alcohol effects to drunkenness. When i drink any other alcohol the effect is calming and i become a very relaxed and intellectual person, having discussions with friends and feel enjoyable. Having tequila the other night. Things didn't resemble this at all, and to further this I have had drinks of higher potency and still not a similar effect as tequila. What difference is there? Is it possible to be allergic to alcohol, as in maybe tequila ? When I drink beer, mixed drinks, and other sorts of beverages, my skin the next morning is usually okay. But when I tend to drink a shot of tequila, even if its just one, I immediately throw up. What concerns me isn't the vomitting.That just may be me. But the next morning I notice small red spots around my body, not many, but its like a rash.
