Which is the best tequila to do tequila slammers? Whats that gold tequila? and how do you properly do slammers?

1. put some salt on the fat side of your fist and get a lime/lemon then you do the slammer, lick the salt and suck the wedge of lemon/lime. tequila gold is just a higher class of tequila, it also tastes Little better!
2. Forget about tequila try jega bomb it is a shot of jegarmiester and you drop it into a glass third full of red bull. It real rocket fuel and it doesn't leave you with a hangover. The jegarmiester on its own is awful and i hate red bull but together and its lovely.
3. Heck with slammers if you just want to do straight shots of tequila, Patron Anejo is by far the BEST tequila.... alittle pricey but well worth it..
4. are you talking about just doing shots? or are you wanting to do poppers? i prefer gold tequila in my margaritas. silver for just shots. shot: salt on side of hand, by your thumb (outside) get your lemon ready lick salt drink shot suck lemon popper: i use the coaster that the shot sets on 1/2 tequila 1/2 7-up (sprite) put coaster on top of shot glass slam on bar quickly do shot!!!
5. Beware of anyone who tells you gold tequila is better. Cheap gold tequila is gold due to coloring, not because of age in oak. Good tequila with an amber or gold hue (Resposado or Anejo) has that color due to aging in oak barrels. Anejo is aged longer. Some producers even use old cognac barrels (El Tesoro Paradisio). Quality tequila can be sipped in a brandy snifter as you would brandy, armanac, cognac, or an aged rum. Otherwise find someone to hold a lime in their mouth and a tequila shot in their cleavage or naval. Lick their neck and sprinkle with salt. Lick the salt, shoot the tequila (mouth only don't use hands) and suck the lime.

Actually you drink golden tequila with orange and cinnamon,silver one with salt and lemon.Try a body shot - let somebody lie on the table with lemon in their mouth,a bit of salt behind the ear, and silver tequila in the belly button....make the opposite sex lick the salt,drink the tequila and bite the lemon ... you can have a good laugh with your friends...it won't matter which kind:)
8. you want tequila get patron platinum but its about 30 bucks a shot anywhere you go. heres how you make it white tequila, lemon juice, and chilled sparkling wine. put everything in a glass and dont mix slam it on the table and drink like a shot.
9. Oh man tequila is great, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The best tequila for slammers would be a blanco o silver, the clear one. It is also better for mixed drinks. You have to lick the part in between your thumb and index finger(so that the salt will stick to it., then you sprinkle salt on it. Then you lick the salt, take the shot of tequila, and you eat the lime. Most people use limes, but if you are short of lime, lemon will do the trick. Gold tequila is not a type of tequila, it is just a color that some tequilas are. They are reposada, and anejo, and they get they're color from aging in oak barrels. Anejo have more aging time, and have a richer flavor, than reposado. No type is actually better quality than the other whether it is blanco, reposada o anejo. It just has different aging time and different flavor and will be better for different things. Although there are lower quality tequilas it is not because of the type it is because of how they are made. If it is not reposada o anejo, but it still has a gold flavor, don't drink it, it is nothing but coloring and is probably low quality. Reposada and anejo tequilas are good for sipping. Just like a cognac, they are great for after dinner cordials. Just sip it enjoy the flavor(which is excellent!!!). Dont waste reposada and anejo tequilas on shots and mixed drinks because thats not what they are good for. Blanco does the job just right. I once saw someone offered Don Julio Real in a snifter, and the dumbass shot it. The person who offered it to him was fairly offended because that is a special tequila and is not meant for shots, it is meant for enjoyment. Whatever you do, make sure that your tequila is 100% blue agave. Some tequilas are partially blue agave and the rest is fermented sugar, that would be the cheaper ones. Leave them alone if you don't want to get sick. When people talk about how disqusting tequila is, this is the kind they are talking about. I love tequila. If you need advice on good brands: Don Julio (mejor del mundo) Herradura Patron (pretty damn good) Jimador Jose Cuervo(I only like the tradicional, and only when its frozen before I take my shot.) You may hear people talk about eating the worm. There is no worm in tequila. Tequila is a type of mezcal(kind of like how cognac is a type of brandy) and certain mezcals will have worms in the bottle to prove that it is distilled well. Tequila will never have a worm in it, and if it does then watch it because its not legit. All real tequila is made in mexico, specifically the state Jalisco. Make sure you look for 100% blue agave, it is all fun no headaches. Welcome to the world of tequila!!!
