How does blanco tequila taste compared to resposado?

I already know the difference in how they are made, My question is, What does blanco tequila taste like? I tried lots of resposados and I really like tequila but I've never tried a blanco and I was hoping someone could explain the difference.

  1. Less of a bite, if drunk straight. Blanco's are for mixing, like in margaritas and such.
  2. Try 1800 it is a good 100 % that is reasonably priced. Stay away from blended tequila as it is blended with cheap rum and a recipe for a hang over
  3. blanco is always easier to take. reposado is always more harsh, and it messes you up more
  4. blanco's or silvers as they are commanly known as have less of a bite than reposado's or anejos. Typically reposado's and anejo's are aged for time (which varies by brand) in oak barrells so the tequila picks up flavors of the barrell. Blanco's or Silvers are not usually aged in oak. Definately stick to a 100 percent agave as they will have a cleaner taste than the others. The others are usually called mixto's as the comapnies are adding water, sugars, and artificial flavoring.
