Is tequila different then other types of liquor?
I have been told that Tequila is the only alcohol that is a stimulate. Is that true? Is there any benefit to drinking Tequila compared to vodka etc.. I feel as if when I dont mix and only drink tequila I have less of a hangover. Stupid question --- but is there any health benefits in moderation?

- Just derived from a different plant. It does not have any properties that are not present in all other alcohol.
- no benes to drinkin ne alcohol except the occasional red wine. not mixing alcohols can help with less hangover
- Me too,I also seem to have less of a hangover from tequila. I do not think there are any health benefits ..........not that I know off,,,anyways, but it sure makes you smart lol
- Tequila is no different than any other distilled spirit, other than the original fermentable. Tequila comes from agave plants, whereas other distilled spirits use different fermentables (Rum uses molasses, Whiskey is corn & grains, etc.).
- It's just another drink with High Alcohol Content. So you get kick. Just bad as any other alcoholic drink. There's no benefit either from Tequila or Vodka. But I feel Vodka is better for your body, because you will eventually dilute vodka with Tonic or Juice. But you take Tequila as a shot in a very concentrated form, which will kill your total intestine system some day or the other. Mexicans believe that it's a gift of GOD. Could be true for a guy who works hard all day in a field and have Tequila in the night to forget his body pains. But we drink for the sake of drinking and for shits and giggles. Do we really need it that hard. You decide... Another stupid way to drink is to mix drinks. Never mix a drink for the sake of hangover. You are screwing your digestive system.
- different alcohols affect people differently. tequila is just fermented from agave.
